حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ يَقُولُ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَعِنْدَهُ ابْنَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ: جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسَهَا، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَلَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ حَاجَةٌ ؟ فَقَالَتِ ابْنَتُهُ: مَا أَقَلَّ حَيَاءَهَا، أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا، فَقَالَ: هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكِ، رَغِبَتْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسَهَا
Translation

✧ I was with Anas b. Mālik, and he had a daughter with him. He said: A woman came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and offered herself to him. She said: O Messenger of God, do you have any need for women? His daughter said: How little modesty she has, or something similar. He said: She is better than you. She desired the Messenger of God ﷺ and offered herself to him.
