وَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْغَيْلَانِيُّ، نَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ: مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا يَلْبَسُ الْقَمِيصَ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَ، وَلَا الْخُفَّيْنِ، إِلَّا أَلَّا يَجِدَ نَعْلَيْنِ، وَلَا ثَوْبًا مَسَّهُ زَعْفَرَانٌ أَوْ وَرْسٌ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked: 'What clothing should a muhrim wear?' He said: 'He should not wear a shirt, trousers, or leather socks, unless he cannot find sandals; nor a garment touched by saffron or wars.'
