حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، قَالَا: نَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ؓ قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ وَجَارِيَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ لَهَا، فَنَظَرَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَلْفَهَا وَقَدْ تَضَايَقَ بِهِمُ الْجَبَلُ، فَقَالَتْ: حَلٍ حَلْ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ - تَعْنِي لِبَعِيرِهَا - فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ صَاحِبُ هَذَا الْبَعِيرِ أَوِ الرَّاحِلَةِ، فَلَا يَصْحَبُنَا بَعِيرٌ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ اللهِ لَعْنَةٌ

Translation

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and a girl from the Ansar was on a camel of hers. She looked at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ behind her and the mountain had become narrow for them, so she said: 'Hal! Hal! May the curse of Allah be upon you'—meaning her camel. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Who is the owner of this camel, or this mount? No camel carrying the curse of Allah should accompany us.'
