حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ: أَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ جُرْمًا مَنْ سَأَلَ عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ لَمْ تُحَرَّمْ فَحُرِّمَتْ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَسْأَلَتِهِ

Translation

✧ The greatest crime of Muslims against Muslims is one who asks about a matter that was not forbidden, and it becomes forbidden because of his asking.
