machine translationHishām b. Yūsuf narrates it from Maʿmar, from Hishām, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, and he erred in it regarding Maʿmar. ʿAbd al-Razzāq contradicted him and narrated it from Maʿmar, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abī Mulaykah, from ʿĀʾishah, and this is the correct version. Likewise al-Thawrī narrated it from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abī Mulaykah, from ʿĀʾishah. Likewise the students of Ibn Jurayj narrated it from him, among them Ḥajjāj, Rawḥ, Muḥammad b. Rabīʿah, Abū ʿĀṣim, Abū Usāmah and Ibn ʿUyaynah. Ḥumayd b. Zanjawayh narrated it from Abū ʿĀṣim and added a man to its chain: he narrated it from Abū ʿĀṣim, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abī Mulaykah, from al-Qāsim b. Muḥammad, from ʿĀʾishah. But the sound version is from Ibn Abī Mulaykah, from ʿĀʾishah.
