أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَنْبَأَ شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ - ؓ
فِي قِصَّةِ الْمَرْأَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ تَظَاهَرَتَا، قَالَ: فَجِئْتُ الْمَشْرُبَةَ الَّتِي فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ لِغُلَامٍ لَهُ أَسْوَدَ: اسْتَأْذِنْ لِعُمَرَ. فَدَخَلَ الْغُلَامُ، فَكَلَّمَ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ، فَقَالَ: كَلَّمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ، وَذَكَرْتُكَ لَهُ. فَصَمَتَ، فَرَجَعْتُ فَجَلَسْتُ مَعَ الرَّهْطِ الَّذِينَ عِنْدَ الْمِنْبَرِ، ثُمَّ غَلَبَنِي مَا أَجِدُ، فَجِئْتُ الْغُلَامَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: اسْتَأْذِنْ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ. فَدَخَلَ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ: قَدْ ذَكَرْتُكَ لَهُ، فَصَمَتَ. قَالَ: فَلَمَّا وَلَّيْتُ مُنْصَرِفًا، إِذَا الْغُلَامُ يَدْعُونِي، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَذِنَ لَكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ. فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مُضْطَجِعٌ عَلَى رُمَالِ حَصِيرٍ، لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ فِرَاشٌ، قَدْ أَثَّرَ الرِّمَالُ بِجَنْبِهِ، مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ، حَشْوُهَا اللِّيفُ

حدث به مرزوق بن أبي الهذيل عن الزهري فقال عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة بن مسعود عن ابن عباس عن عمر ووهم في نسبه وإنما هو عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن أبي ثور كذلك رواه الحفاظ عن الزهري ولهذا الحديث طرق كثيرة عن ابن عباس عن عمر صحاح
machine translationMarzūq b. Abī al-Hudhayl narrated it from al-Zuhrī and said: "from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUtbah b. Masʿūd, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from ʿUmar," but he erred in his lineage; he is in fact ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abī Thawr. This is how the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrated it from al-Zuhrī.
