The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke from sleep with his face red, and said: "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today an opening has been made in the barrier of Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj like this," and he made a ring of ninety. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed while the righteous are among us?" He said: "Yes, when the filth increases."

machine translationBut the disagreement in it comes from the narrators from Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah, and the narration of those who narrated from him "ninety" or "a hundred" is more precise and more numerous than the narration of those who narrated "ten". And when the source of the hadith is one, especially at the end of the chain, [it is unlikely to be taken as multiple occurrences], after assuming very great multiplicity.
