وَفِيمَا أَجَازَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ قَالَ:
مَا أَحَدٌ يَمُوتُ فِي حَدٍّ مِنَ الْحُدُودِ فَأَجِدَ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْهُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا الَّذِي يَمُوتُ فِي حَدِّ الْخَمْرِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ شَيْءٌ أَحْدَثْنَاهُ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَمَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُ فَدِيَتُهُ، إِمَّا قَالَ: فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ، وَإِمَّا قَالَ: عَلَى عَاقِلَةِ الْإِمَامِ،
