أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَنْبَأَ يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنَا
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي مُدْلِجٍ قَتَلَ ابْنًا لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ: عَرْفَجَةُ، فَأَمَرَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَأَخْرَجَ دِيَتَهُ، فَأَعْطَاهَا أَخًا لِلْقَتِيلِ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ
