( أَخْبَرَنَا ) عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ النَّضْرَوِيُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ:

قَالَ لِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ: إِنِّي أَنْزَلْتُ نَفْسِي مِنْ مَالِ اللهِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ وَالِي الْيَتِيمِ، إِنِ احْتَجْتُ أَخَذْتُ مِنْهُ، فَإِذَا أَيْسَرْتُ رَدَدْتُهُ، وَإِنِ اسْتَغْنَيْتُ اسْتَعْفَفْتُ
