✧ We went out with the Messenger of God ﷺ until we reached the ḥarrah at al-Suqyā, which belonged to Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Bring me water for ablution.” When he had performed ablution, he stood and faced the qiblah, then said the takbīr, then said, “O God, Ibrāhīm was Your servant and friend; he prayed for the people of Makkah with blessing. I am Muḥammad, Your servant and Messenger; I call upon You for the people of Madinah to bless their mudd and ṣāʿ with twice the blessing You gave the people of Makkah—blessing upon blessing.”
