حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ لَا يُقِيمُ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدْ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation

✧ The mu'adhdhin of the Prophet ﷺ would call the adhan and then not make the iqamah, waiting until he saw the Prophet ﷺ come out. When he saw him, he would make the iqamah for the prayer.
