حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي أَقْرَمَ بِالْقَاعِ قَالَ: فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ فَأَنَاخُوا بِنَاحِيَةِ الطَّرِيقِ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي: أَيْ بُنَيَّ، كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ وَأُسَائِلَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ وَخَرَجْتُ فِي إِثْرِهِ، فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ
Translation

✧ "So a caravan passed by us, and they stopped by the side of the road. Then my father said to me, 'O my son, stand by your flock until I meet these people and ask them something.' He left, and I followed in his footsteps. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the call for prayer was made, so I prayed alongside him. I would look at the armpits of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whenever he prostrated."
