✧ That Abu Sa'id al-Khudri came to his family and found a bowl of dried sacrificial meat. He refused to eat it, so he went to Qatada b. al-Nu'man and informed him that the Prophet ﷺ stood and said: 'I had commanded you not to eat the sacrificial meats beyond three days so that it might suffice you, but I now make it lawful for you, so eat of it as you wish. And do not sell the meat of the hady or the sacrifices, but eat, give charity, and benefit from their hides. And do not sell them. If you are given any of its meat, eat it if you wish.'
