حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعِيشُ بْنُ طِخْفَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
يَا فُلَانُ انْطَلِقْ بِهَذَا مَعَكَ

Sulaymān, al-Faḍl b. Mūsā al-Sīnānī, Shujāʿ b. al-Walīd and Muḥammad b. Bishr. Muʿtamir narrated it from Muḥammad b. ʿAmr from Abū Salamah as a mursal report from the Prophet ﷺ. Others narrate it from Abū Salamah from Ibn Ṭikhfah al-Ghifārī from his father, and that is the correct version. This hadith was also narrated from Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥalḥalah from Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. ʿAṭāʾ from Abū Hurayrah, and it was said that it is from him from ʿAṭāʾ from Abū Hurayrah, but it is not authentic from Abū Hurayrah. Rather, Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. ʿAṭāʾ narrated it from Ibn Ṭikhfah as well.
