- Dāraquṭnī
machine translationAl-Dāraquṭnī was asked about it and he said: Zakariyyā b. Abī Zāʾidah narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from Muḥammad b. Saʿd, from his father. Maʿmar contradicted him and narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from ʿUmar b. Saʿd, from Saʿd. It was also said, from Maʿmar, from Abū Isḥāq, from ʿĀmir b. Saʿd, but that is not sound (ṣaḥīḥ). The correct version is the hadith of Muḥammad b. Saʿd.
