حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ جُرْمًا؛ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ، وَنَقَّرَ عَنْهُ حَتَّى أُنْزِلَ فِي ذَلِكَ الشَّيْءِ تَحْرِيمٌ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَسْأَلَتِهِ

Translation

✧ Indeed, among the greatest of Muslims in offense against Muslims is a man who asked about something and probed into it until a prohibition was revealed regarding that thing because of his question.
