حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَظَرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَصْرِفُ رَاحِلَتَهُ فِي نَوَاحِي الْقَوْمِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ فَضْلٌ مِنْ ظَهْرٍ فَلْيَعُدْ بِهِ عَلَى مَنْ لَا ظَهْرَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ فَضْلٌ مِنْ زَادٍ فَلْيَعُدْ بِهِ عَلَى مَنْ لَا زَادَ لَهُ، حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا أَنْ لَا حَقَّ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَّا فِي فَضْلٍ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ looked at a man turning his mount around the people, and the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever has an extra mount should give it to one who has no mount, and whoever has extra provisions should give them to one who has no provisions,” until we thought that none of us had any right to surplus.
