حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَكَانَتْ أُمُّهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ - يَعْنِي أَبَا سَعِيدٍ -:
يَا بُنَيَّ إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي الْبَوَادِي فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالْأَذَانِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَا يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهُ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ وَلَا حَجَرٌ وَلَا شَجَرٌ، إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ

✧ My son, when you are in the wilderness, raise your voice with the call to prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Its voice is not heard by any jinn, human, stone, or tree except that it testifies for him.
