حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْخَضِرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَرِيبٍ قَالَ:

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: رُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: مِنْ سِتِّينَ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: تَسْمَعُنِي أَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ: مِنْ سِتِّينَ ؟

✧ I heard Abu Hurayrah say to Ibn Abbas: 'The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "The believer's dream is one of forty parts of prophethood." Ibn Abbas said: 'Of sixty.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'You hear me say: "The Messenger of God ﷺ said," and you say: "Of sixty"?'
