وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَجْلِسُوا فِي الصُّعُدَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَفْنِيَةِ. قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَا نَسْتَطِيعُ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: إِمَّا لَا فَأَعْطُوهَا حَقَّهَا، قَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، وَمَا حَقُّهَا ؟ قَالَ: رَدُّ التَّحِيَّةِ، وَغَضُّ الْبَصَرِ، وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ، وَإِرْشَادُ السَّبِيلِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ Do not sit in the middle of roads or in courtyards. They said: O Messenger of Allah, we cannot avoid that. He said: If you must, then give them their right. They asked: O Prophet of Allah, what is their right? He said: Returning the greeting, lowering the gaze, saying yarhamuk Allah to the one who sneezes, and guiding the way.
