✧ God caused those before us to stray from Friday. For the Jews it was Saturday, and for the Christians Sunday. Then God brought us and guided us to Friday. He made Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and likewise they will follow us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last in this world, the first on the Day of Resurrection, the ones for whom judgment will be passed on the Day of Resurrection over all creatures. God will gather people on a single plain. When the Garden is brought near, the believers will say, 'Who will open the Garden for us?' They will come to Adam and say, 'O Adam, open the Garden for us.' He will say, 'Did anything expel you from the Garden except the sin of your father Adam? I am not the one for that. Go to your father Ibrahim, the intimate friend of his Lord.' They will come to him and say, 'O Ibrahim, open the Garden for us.' He will say, 'I am not the one for that. I was only an intimate friend from behind a veil. Go to my brother Musa, the one to whom God spoke directly.' They will come to Musa, and he will say, 'I am not the one for that. Go to the word of God and His spirit, Isa.' They will come to him, and he will say, 'I am not the one for that. Go to Muhammad ﷺ.' They will come to Muhammad, and he will ask permission and be granted permission. Then al-Amanah (the Trust) and al-Rahim (the womb) will be sent with him, and they will stand on the two sides of the Sirat, on his right and his left. The first of you will pass like lightning, how quickly will he pass? Then he will return in the blink of an eye. Then he will pass like the wind. Then he will pass like birds. Then like the running of men, their deeds carrying them along. Your Prophet ﷺ will be standing on the Sirat saying, 'Save, save,' until people's deeds fall short. Until a man comes who can only cross crawling. On the edges of the Sirat there are hooked hooks, suspended, commanded to seize whomever they are commanded to seize. So some are saved but scratched, and some are piled into the Fire. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurayra, the depth of Jahannam is seventy autumns.
