✧ Jibril came to me with something like a white mirror in his hand, in which there was a black spot. I said, 'What is this, O Jibril?' He said, 'This is Friday. Your Lord sent it to you to be a festival for you and for your community after you.' I said, 'What do we have in it?' He said, 'You have abundant good. You are the last and the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. In it there is an hour in which no Muslim servant praying asks Allah for anything but He gives it to him.' I said, 'What is this black spot?' He said, 'This is the hour. It occurs on Friday, which is the master of days, and we call it the Day of Increase.' I said, 'O Jibril, what is the Increase?' He said, 'Your Lord has taken a valley in Paradise, broad, of white musk. When it is Friday among the days of the Hereafter, the Lord, Blessed and Exalted, descends from His Throne to His Footstool. The Footstool is surrounded by pulpits of light, and the prophets sit upon them. The pulpits are surrounded by chairs of gold, and the martyrs sit upon them. The people of the chambers come down from their chambers and sit on dunes of musk, not seeing that those on the chairs and pulpits have any superiority over them in the assembly. The Owner of Majesty and Honor appears to them and says, "Ask Me." They say, "We ask You for Your pleasure, O Lord." He says, "My pleasure has caused you to dwell in My abode and granted you My honor." Then He says, "Ask Me." They all say, "We ask You for Your pleasure." He makes them testify to His pleasure. Then He says, "Ask Me." They ask Him until every servant among them has finished. Then He bestows upon them what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has imagined.'
