حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ:

كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَأَتَى الْغَائِطَ، فَقَالَ: الْتَمِسُوا لِي ثَلَاثَةَ أَحْجَارٍ، فَلَمْ أَجِدْ إِلَّا حَجَرَيْنِ وَرَوْثَةً، فَأَخَذَ الْحَجَرَيْنِ وَرَدَّ الرَّوْثَةَ، وَقَالَ: هَذِهِ رِجْسٌ

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he went to relieve himself. He said: 'Find me three stones.' I found only two stones and a piece of dung. He took the two stones and threw back the dung, saying: 'This is filth.'
