✧ The first hadith of Alqamah, from Abdullah b. Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَا: نَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ لِحَاجَةٍ، فَقَالَ: ائْتِنِي بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِحَجَرَيْنِ وَرَوْثَةٍ، فَأَخَذَ الْحَجَرَيْنِ وَأَلْقَى الرَّوْثَةَ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا رِكْسٌ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out to relieve himself and said: 'Bring me three stones.' So I brought him two stones and a piece of dung. He took the two stones and threw away the dung, saying: 'It is filth.'
