✧ The companions of Ibn Mas'ud were bitten by the cold, so they became shy to come in turbans and cloaks. He missed them, and it was said to him: Their matter is such and such. So Abu Abd al-Rahman came one morning in a cloak, and they said: Ibn Mas'ud has come in his cloak. Then came the second day, then came the third day. When they saw him in the cloak, they came in their garments all together, and he recognized faces that he had missed. He said: Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: No one will enter Paradise in whose heart is a mustard seed's weight of pride, or he said: an atom's weight of pride.
