✧ The Messenger of God used to prefer the prayer for which he used the tooth-stick over the prayer for which he did not use the tooth-stick by seventy times. And the Messenger of God ﷺ used to prefer hidden remembrance, which the recording angels do not hear, by seventy times. He said: On the Day of Resurrection, when God gathers the creatures for their reckoning and the recording angels bring what they have recorded and written, God will say to them: “Look, is there anything left for him?” They will say: “Our Lord, we have not left anything that we knew and recorded without counting and writing it.” Then God, Blessed and Exalted, will say to him: “You have with Me something hidden that you do not know, and I will reward you for it – and that is the hidden remembrance.”

machine translationMuḥammad b. Isḥāq also narrated it, saying: "al-Zuhrī mentioned from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah." It is said that Muḥammad b. Isḥāq took it from Muʿāwiyah b. Yaḥyā al-Ṣadafī, because he was his companion on the journey to al-Rayy in the entourage of al-Mahdī, and Muʿāwiyah b. Yaḥyā is weak (ḍaʿīf).
