✧ She circumambulated with Aisha three circuits. Every time she completed a circuit, she sought refuge between the door and the Hijr until she completed two rak'ahs for each circuit, and with her were some women. They mentioned Hassan b. Thabit and fell upon him, insulting and reviling him. Aisha said: "Do not revile him. What God said has befallen him: 'For him is a painful punishment.' And he has become blind. By God, I hope that God will admit him to Paradise because of words he said for Muhammad ﷺ, when he said to Abu Sufyan b. al-Harith: 'You satirized Muhammad, so I answered on his behalf. With God is the reward for that. My father, his father, and my honor are a protection for the honor of Muhammad from you. Would you satirize him when you are not his equal? The worse of you two is the ransom for the better of you two.'"
