حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:

لَقَدْ أُعْطِيتُ تِسْعًا مَا أُعْطِيَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ إِلَّا مَرْيَمَ بِنْتَ عِمْرَانَ؛ لَقَدْ نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ بِصُورَتِي فِي رَاحَتِهِ حَتَّى أَمَرَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَنِي، وَلَقَدْ تَزَوَّجَنِي بِكْرًا وَمَا تَزَوَّجَ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي، وَلَقَدْ قُبِضَ وَرَأْسُهُ لَفِي حِجْرِي، وَلَقَدْ قَبَرْتُهُ فِي بَيْتِي، وَلَقَدْ حَفَّتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتِي، وَإِنْ كَانَ الْوَحْيُ لَيَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَيَتَفَرَّقُونَ عَنْهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَيَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنِّي لَمَعَهُ فِي لِحَافِهِ، وَإِنِّي لَابْنَةُ خَلِيفَتِهِ وَصِدِّيقِهِ، وَلَقَدْ نَزَلَ عُذْرِي مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، وَلَقَدْ خُلِقْتُ طَيِّبَةً وَعِنْدَ طَيِّبٍ، وَلَقَدْ وُعِدْتُ مَغْفِرَةً وَرِزْقًا كَرِيمًا

✧ I was given nine things that no woman was given except Maryam bt. Imran: Jibril came down with my image in his palm until he commanded the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to marry me. He married me as a virgin, and he married no other virgin besides me. His soul was taken while his head was in my lap. I buried him in my house. The angels surrounded my house. Revelation used to descend upon him while he was with his family and they would disperse from him, and it used to descend upon him while I was with him under his blanket. I am the daughter of his successor and his closest companion. My innocence was sent down from heaven. I was created good and for a good man. I was promised forgiveness and a generous provision.
