حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ: حُدِّثْنَا
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ صَفْوَانَ وَآخَرَ مَعَهُ أَتَيَا عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: يَا فُلَانُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ حَدِيثَ حَفْصَةَ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ: وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؟ قَالَتْ: خِلَالٌ فِيَّ تِسْعٌ [١]لَمْ تَكُنْ فِي أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا مَا آتَى اللهُ مَرْيَمَ ابْنَةَ عِمْرَانَ، وَاللهِ مَا أَقُولُ هَذَا أَنِّي أَفْتَخِرُ عَلَى صَوَاحِبِي، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ: وَمَا هِيَ [٢]يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَزَلَ الْمَلَكُ بِصُورَتِي، وَتَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ، وَأُهْدِيتُ إِلَيْهِ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ، وَتَزَوَّجَنِي بِكْرًا لَمْ يَشْرَكْهُ فِيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَأَتَاهُ الْوَحْيُ وَأَنَا وَإِيَّاهُ فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَكُنْتُ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ، وَنَزَلَ فِيَّ آيَاتٌ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كَادَتِ الْأُمَّةُ تَهْلِكُ فِيهِنَّ، وَرَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ وَلَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ غَيْرِي، وَقُبِضَ فِي بَيْتِي لَمْ يَكُنْ [٣]أَحَدٌ غَيْرُ الْمَلَكِ وَأَنَا

She said: "The angel came down with my image; the Messenger of God ﷺ married me when I was seven years old; I was brought to him when I was nine years old; he married me as a virgin, and no one among the people shared in me with him; the revelation came to him while he and I were in one blanket; I was among the people most beloved to him; verses of the Qur'an were revealed about me, over which the Ummah almost perished; I saw Jibrīl, and none of his other wives saw him except me; and he was taken in my house, with no one [3] there but the angel and me."
