حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سِنَانٍ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ وَهُوَ مَحْمُومٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: كَفَّارَةٌ وَطَهُورٌ، فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: بَلْ حُمَّى تَفُورُ عَلَى شَيْخٍ كَبِيرٍ تُزِيرُهُ الْقُبُورَ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَتَرَكَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon a bedouin to visit him while he was feverish. The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is an expiation and a purification." The bedouin said, "Rather, it is a fever boiling over an old man, driving him to the graves." The Prophet ﷺ got up and left him.
