أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْعَيْزَارِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أَعْجَبَكُمْ أَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا أَصَابَ خَيْرًا حَمِدَ اللهَ وَشَكَرَ وَإِذَا أَصَابَتْهُ مُصِيبَةٌ حَمِدَ اللهَ وَصَبَرَ فَالْمُؤْمِنُ يُؤْجَرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى الْأُكْلَةِ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِيهِ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: "Does it not amaze you that when a believer receives good, he praises Allah and gives thanks; and when a calamity befalls him, he praises Allah and remains patient? The believer is rewarded for everything, even for the morsel of food he raises to his mouth."
