قَالَ أَبُو يَحْيَى: فَحَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ:

أَنَّ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ كَانَ رَجُلًا ضَابِطًا، فَكَانَ يَحْمِلُ حَجَرَيْنِ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَتَلَقَّاهُ، فَدَفَعَ فِي صَدْرِهِ، فَقَالَ: احْبُنِي، فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْفُضُ التُّرَابَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ وَصَدْرِهِ، وَيَقُولُ: ابْنَ سُمَيَّةَ، تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Yaḥyá Faḥaddathanī Ibn Abū al-Hudhayl

✧ Ammar b. Yasir was a strong man, so he would carry two stones. The Prophet ﷺ learned of that and met him, then he pushed him in the chest and said: 'Carry me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to brush the dust from his head and chest, saying: 'O son of Sumayyah, the transgressing party will kill you.'
