حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَوْلَيَانِ: حَبَشِيٌّ وَنَبَطِيٌّ، فَاسْتَبَّا وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسْمَعُ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ: يَا حَبَشِيُّ، فَقَالَ الْآخَرُ: يَا نَبَطِيُّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَا تَقُولُوا هَذَا، إِنَّمَا أَنْتُمَا رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ had two freedmen: an Abyssinian and a Nabatean. They insulted each other while the Prophet ﷺ was listening. One said to the other, 'O Abyssinian,' and the other said, 'O Nabatean.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Do not say this. You are both men from the companions of Muhammad ﷺ.'
