حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، نَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَوْلَيَانِ: حَبَشِيٌّ، وَقِبْطِيٌّ، فَاسْتَبَّا يَوْمًا، وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسْمَعُ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ: يَا حَبَشِيُّ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ: يَا قِبْطِيُّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَا تَقُولَا هَذَا، فَإِنَّمَا أَنْتُمَا رَجُلَانِ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ had two freedmen: an Abyssinian and a Copt. One day they quarreled while the Prophet ﷺ was listening. One of them said to the other: "O Abyssinian," and the other said: "O Copt." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not say this; you are but two men from the family of Muhammad ﷺ."
