حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرًا مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِينَ قَفَلَ مِنْ خَيْبَرَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Translation

✧ Among the supplications of the Prophet ﷺ when he returned from Khaybar was: O God, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, incapacity and laziness, cowardice and miserliness, the burden of debt and the domination of men.
