حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
إِنْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ لَيَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ الشَّيْءَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا فَيُسْلِمُ لَهُ، ثُمَّ لَا يُمْسِي حَتَّى يَكُونَ الْإِسْلَامُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا
Translation

✧ A man would ask the Prophet ﷺ for something of this world, and he would grant it to him. Then before evening came, Islam would become dearer to him than the world and all that is in it.
