✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Umm Sulaym, and she brought him some ghee and dates. He said: Return your ghee to its waterskin and your dates to their container, for I am fasting. Then he stood and prayed a prayer other than the prescribed one, and we prayed. Then he supplicated for Umm Sulaym and for her household. Umm Sulaym said: I have a small special request. He said: And what is it? She said: Your servant Anas. He said: So he supplicated for me for the good of this world and the Hereafter, and said: O Allah, grant him wealth and children and bless him in them. He said: Indeed I am among the Ansar with the most children. He said: And Ummaynah informed me that from my loins up to the arrival of al-Hajjaj in Basra, one hundred and twenty-some were buried.
