✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood for prayer. A man came after the Prophet ﷺ had stood, and he hastened his pace. He reached the people breathless - or panting - and when he reached the row he said, 'Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise.' When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer, he said, 'Who was the speaker?' - or 'the one who said these words?' The people remained silent. He said the like again, then said, 'Who is he? For he said nothing wrong' - or 'he said good.' The man said, 'I came, O Messenger of Allah, and hastened my pace. I reached the row breathless - or panting - and I said what I said.' He said, 'I saw twelve angels racing to it, which of them would raise it up.' Then he said, 'When one of you comes to prayer, let him walk calmly. Let him pray what he catches and complete what he missed.'
