✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah for the compensatory `umrah, with Ibn Rawaha before him, saying: 'Clear the way, sons of the disbelievers, from his path! Today we will strike you for its true interpretation, a strike that removes heads from their resting place, and makes the friend forget his friend.' `Umar said to him: 'O Ibn Rawaha, in the sanctuary of God and before the Messenger of God you recite this poetry?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Leave him, O `Umar, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, his words are harder on them than the falling of arrows.'
