Musnad Abi Ya'la 3397

Translation

✧ The sister of al-Rubayyiʿ, Umm Ḥāritha, wounded a person. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Retaliation, retaliation." The mother of al-Rubayyiʿ said: "O Messenger of God, is retaliation taken from so-and-so? No, by God, retaliation will never be taken from her." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Glory be to God, O Umm al-Rubayyiʿ, retaliation is God's decree." She said: "No, by God, retaliation will never be taken from her." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Among God's servants are those who, if they swear by God, He would fulfill their oath."
