✧ Virtues of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and the Prohibition of Insulting Them

أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي فَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ»

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, 'Do not revile my Companions. If one of you were to spend the like of Mount Uhud in gold, it would not reach a mudd of one of them, nor even half of it.'
