حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، كَانَ يَقُولُ:

اسْتَوُوا - مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا - وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، إِنِّي لَأَرَاكُمْ مِنْ خَلْفِي كَمَا أَرَاكُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ. وَزَادَ حُمَيْدٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: اسْتَوُوا وَتَرَاصُّوا

Translation

✧ Stand straight—twice or thrice—for by the One in whose hand is my soul, I surely see you from behind me just as I see you from in front of me. Humayd added in the hadith: Stand straight and press close together.
