حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي يَعْقُوبُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
اعْتَدِلُوا فِي سُجُودِكُمْ، وَلَا يَفْتَرِشْ أَحَدُكُمْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ افْتِرَاشَ الْكَلْبِ، أَتِمُّوا الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ، فَوَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَاكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَوْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ظَهْرِي، إِذَا رَكَعْتُمْ وَإِذَا سَجَدْتُمْ

✧ Be moderate in your prostration, and let none of you spread his forearms like a dog spreads them. Complete the bowing and the prostration, for by Allah, I see you from behind me—or from behind my back—when you bow and when you prostrate.
