Show the chain

✧ It was mentioned in the presence of Ubayd Allah b. Ziyad the Hawd (the Pool), and it was as if he denied it. That reached Anas, so he said: "No doubt, I will displease him." So he came to him and said: "What do you deny about the Hawd?" He said: "Have you heard it, O Abu Hamza, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said: "Yes, more than such-and-such a number of times. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'The distance between the two ends of my Hawd is like that between Aylah and Makkah, or between Sana'a and Makkah, and its vessels are more than the number of stars in the sky.'"
