وَنَاهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، نَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ أَمَامَكُمْ حَوْضًا كَمَا بَيْنَ كَذَا إِلَى كَذَا. شَكَّ الْفُضَيْلُ، وَحَمَّادٌ لَمْ يَشُكَّ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ نَافِعٍ: إِنَّهُ شَكَّ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
Translation

✧ Indeed, before you is a cistern like the distance between such-and-such and such-and-such. Al-Fudayl doubted, but Hammad did not doubt. A man in the presence of Nafi' said: He doubted. So he said: It is true from the Messenger of God ﷺ.
