حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

لِلْجَارِ أَنْ يَضَعَ خَشَبَةً عَلَى جِدَارِ جَارِهِ وَإِنْ كَرِهَ، وَالطَّرِيقُ الْمِيتَاءُ سَبْعُ أَذْرُعٍ، وَلَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا ضِرَارَ

Translation

✧ A neighbor has the right to place a wooden beam on his neighbor's wall, even if he dislikes it. The customary road is seven cubits. And there is no harm and no reciprocated harm.
