✧ I set out for some need, and suddenly I saw a group in the market, so I turned toward them. There was a man narrating to them the description of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his appearance. He said: Then I encountered him on the main road between Arafat and Mina, and he was raised before me in a riding party, and I recognized him by the description. He said: A man called out to me: O rider, clear the way for the mounts! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave the rider alone, for he has a need. He said: I came forward until I took hold of the she-camel's rein – or its nose rope – and I said: O Messenger of Allah.

machine translation"Tell me, or inform me, of a deed that brings me closer to Paradise and keeps me far from the Fire." He said: "Is that what wearies you, or tires you?" He said: I said, "Yes." He said: "Then understand, or comprehend: you worship God, associating nothing with Him; you establish the prayer; you give the zakāh; you fast Ramaḍān; you perform pilgrimage to the House; you do to people what you like to be done to you, and you dislike for people what you dislike to be done to you. Let go of the camel's rein, or its halter." Abū Qaṭan said: I said to him, "Did you hear it from him, or did you hear it from al-Mughīrah?" He said: "Yes."
