حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

لَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا إِضْرَارَ، وَلِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ خَشَبَهُ فِي حَائِطِ جَارِهِ، وَالطَّرِيقُ الْمِيتَاءُ سَبْعَةُ أَذْرُعٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ There is no harm and no reciprocal harm. A man may place his wooden beam in his neighbor's wall. The width of a public road is seven cubits.
