حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:

صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ، تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ

Translation

✧ The travel prayer is two rak'ahs, the Eid al-Fitr prayer is two rak'ahs, the Eid al-Adha prayer is two rak'ahs, and the Friday prayer is two rak'ahs, complete without shortening, on the tongue of your Prophet ﷺ.
